Harish Sachdeva has over 20 years of experience in management and sales in Japan. After co-founding Meritech in 2003, he served as COO of the company until 2012 and was responsible for overall operations of the company including sales and marketing. Before Meritech, Harish led sales initiatives at Metatron Technologies, Japan. He handled large accounts such as NTT docomo, J-Phone (now SoftBank) and TU-KA cellular (now merged with KDDI). Harish understands Telecom Industry very well and is passionate for the efficiency of its clients. Under his leadership, Meritech has been creating products which help improve the network quality. Harish wants to keep improving the efficiency of its customers by developing the tools and products in wireless and medical verticals. His interests include providing the right education in schools to make today’s children the leaders of next generation. He also serves as Chairman of Wisdom Social Welfare Trust which runs a school in India.
Harish holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Kurukshetra University, India.
Ranjan Gupta has over 35 years of wide experience which includes R&D, technical support, project management, business development, and entrepreneurship. After graduating from Denki Tsushin Daigaku, Chofu, Ranjan joined the R&D lab of JBCC in 1987. There he acquired an expertise on Finite Element Methods (FEM). In 1988, he moved to Toshiba’s ancillary company to support CAE products (Electromagnetics Analysis tool) developed on the principles of FEM. In 1995, Ranjan joined Ansoft Japan (later acquired by Ansys) as a Director of sales & marketing. There he created a large customer base in Japan. In 1999, Ranjan moved to Mastek Ltd, a services company as its country head in Japan. In five and half year’s stint, he developed market in telecom, CTI, retail, BFSI, semiconductor, Healthcare and life science domain. From 2004 to 2017, Ranjan worked as Representative Director of several IT companies in Japan. Ranjan joined Meritech in 2018. He is currently building Meritech Academy for grooming young Meritech engineers in Japanese language, culture, bridge engineering and ISTQB. Ranjan holds Master’s degree in Mathematics from University of Calcutta and M.Tech in Computer Science from Denki Tsushin Daigaku, Japan.
Higashi Satake has over 25 years of extensive experience in the communication measuring instrument market and the telecom industry. At Meritech, he is the Director of Sales and Solutions for the Wireless and IoT department.
Prior to Meritech, he has worked at Catapult Communications Ixia (currently Keysight Technologies) as an operator/vendor sales representative for protocol testers for NGN, 2G, 3G, and 4G, and has also been a Wireless Product Sales Manager. After that, as a founding member of Glean, he has also engaged in new market and customer development.
Arif Eqbal has over 18 years of extensive experience in software industry. He manages Meritech’s India operations including research and development activities. Before joining Meritech, Arif led software engineering activities at Impetus Technologies, India. Prior to that, he was a Systems Analyst at Verizon Data Services and Project Engineer at the Center for Development of Advanced Computing.
Arif holds an engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from Madurai Kamaraja University, India.
